Manos Trunk Show is Here
Marla is made from 2 strands of lighter-weight yarn that have been dyed separately and then plied together. When worked, Marla creates a marled fabric, where the colors are uniquely distributed. Sami, the semi-solid DK-weight sister to Marla, has a palette of 11 coordinating colors!

Cygnus Cowl
This “doughnut” cowl has no wrong side. It begins with a solid area of one color, then changes to a small geometric stranded pattern for awhile, then moves to the other color on its own, and finally repeats the stranded pattern. The solid areas give the eye a place to rest as well as highlighting each yarn individually.

Saturn Shawl
Stripes of semi-solid Sami remind us of Saturn’s rings against a background of multicolor Marla. The shape is an asymmetrical triangle worked from one long point to the opposite short side, all in trusty garter stitch.

Orbit Cowl
Brioche ribs change color in a swirl around a simple cowl, letting one tweedy color of Marla share the spotlight with a semi-solid Sami. The technique is much easier than it looks: all it takes is moving a ring marker over a couple stitches every few rounds.

Pebble is Here
A trio of favorite fibers, including cashmere, fine merino, and recycled silk, all unite to create a tweedy melange. Separate plies of each fiber retain their distinctive characteristics, all the while blending into a beautifully cohesive yarn flecked with complex tonal colors. Pebble is light, airy, and irresistibly soft.
Slowly Drifting
The mesmerizing mosaic stitch in a dreamy color palette makes this topdown triangle shawl so special. And best of all, the pattern is formed by simply slipping stitches! The result is a beautiful effect that’s extremely easy to do
