It is knit from the top down, in one piece, beginning with a provisional cast on. The provisional stitches are picked up at the end, then the neck is shaped with short rows and the collar is finished in ribbing. Other than the short rows for the neck shaping, it is worked entirely in the round. Yoke shaping is done with increases during the colour-work, in addition to raglan increases following the colour-work
