SimpliWorsted Simply Does It All
We like to think of HiKoo's Simpliworsted as our go-to yarn for kids knits and Building Blocks blankets, but this amazing yarn does so much more. Here are a few awesome patterns that call for this user-friendly yarn:
Cheryl Toy's Lykke Sweater (pictured above) is a tunic-length pullover with a simple cable trim along the shoulders, hems and sleeve cuffs. It uses 8-13 skeins of SimpliWorsted - and you can learn more about it here!
Unleased (pictured above) are a pair of convertible mittens, written for members of the entire family (even the dog, if you count the fact that they are perfect dog-walking mitts). This classic pattern from Michelle Hunter uses 1 to 2 skeins of SimpliWorsted, and you can learn more about it here!
The Paros Hat by Robin Allen (pictured above) is an intriguing hat made with two colors of SimpliWorsted. Mixing a marl and a solid will give a visually stunning aesthetic, and will be a delight to make. You'll need 1 skein each of two different colors of Simpliworsted to make this clever hat. Click here to learn more about the Paros Hat.
Remember, SimpliWorsted is a super-soft blend of super-wash Merino, acrylic and nylon. This yarn basically has super-powers, as it's easy to knit with, easy to care for, and knits up beautifully into ANYTHING. Each skein is 140 yards and $16. Click here to learn more and buy online.
Proud Peacocks
It's 2020 people, and we think it's time to celebrate all the things that make us beautiful and different! These gorgeous peacocks know how to get that done. These hand-painted needlepoint canvases from Eye Candy Arts each measure approximately 6.5" 7.5" on 18 mesh canvas. We think the pair are a fantastic duo, but they also shine on their own. Click pics to learn more or buy online. Each proud peacock is $85.
