Laine Issue 7 Is Here!

Issue 7 of Laine Magazine has arrived at Wool & Grace! 
Somehow the folks at Laine manage to publish one issue after the next, filled with pages of absolutely gorgeous knitting patterns, recipes, book lists, travel guides and yarn-industry profiles.  This issues has a bit of it all, from inspiring and detailed color-work as in Marit (pictured above, a fair isle cardigan by Kristen Drysdale) to simple but rich patterns like Rambla (pictured just below, a mega wrap by Jonna Hietala) which is a perfect project for all levels of knitters!  This issue has 12 stunning knitting patterns and so much more.

Baby Knits from Appalachian Baby Design

Help us welcome Appalachian Baby Design to Wool & Grace.  We are excited to introduce this line of adorable knitting kits to our community of knitters.  Appalachian Baby Design features their signature yarns, made of 100% organic cotton grown in the US.  Designs are timeless, darling and appropriate for a range of knitting skills!  

The Lambs Ear Cardigan (pictured above) uses Appalachian Baby Design's sport-weight cotton and is sized for 12, 18 and 24 months old.  Recommended needle is a US6.  The Lambs Ear Cardigan Kit is $52.

The Tally Ho Blanket Kit (pictured just below) pairs classic stripes with solid blocks of color for an engaging and chic baby knit.  This kit uses Appalachian Baby Design's worsted-weight yarn (2 balls of each color) and comes in two color combinations.  Recommended needle size is a US7.  The Tally Ho Blanket Kit is $52.  

The Pompom Chunky Baby Hat Kit (pictured at bottom) is a quick and cute knitting project for any baby, and knits up in a flash using Appalachian Baby Designs chunky-weight cotton.  Recommended needle size is a US9.  The Pompom Chunky Baby Hat Kit is $20.

Preppy Chic from Anne Fisher Needlepoint


A new shipment of needlepoint canvases from Anne Fisher Needlepoint has arrived!  We love Anne Fisher's fresh take on preppy style, keeping it modern and young.  We also love these pint-sized projects, which you can start and finish in no-time at all (which makes for some confidence-boosting stitching!) Cascade Favorites Keep Coming!


We keep getting this year's Cascade favorites because we can't keep them in stock!  We've just received another shipment full of Cascade's Spuntaneous and Luminosa for your favorite big and not-so-big knitting projects!

Luminosa (pictured above)is a special-worsted weight blend from Cascade.  The inner-chainette construction has a subtle sheen and is surrounded by a soft halo of black alpaca and wool.  The finished result in your knitting is a cozy and sophisticated fabric.  We've been knitting up our favorite Beloved hat like crazy with Luminosa (we even have fingerless mitts to match!), but it will knit beautifully into any accessory, sweater or even blanket!  Each heavenly skein of Luminosa is 240 yards and $20.  Click images or links to learn more or buy online!
