Laine Issue 6 has Arrived!

Laine Issue 6 is at Wool & Grace! This highly anticipated issue delivers with twelve gorgeous patterns begging to be cast on.  There's something for all levels of knitters in this issue.  Sweaters galore, beautiful scarves and wraps and a charming pair of socks (by Andrea Mowry) give knitters a bevvy of beautiful projects to choose from.  Sari Nordlund's Poet (pictured above) is an absolute stunner, worked up in a fingering weight yarn.  Thoughtful articles, interviews an Icelandic travel guide, artful photographs and recipes round out this issue.

This week's blog delves into some of our favorite projects in this special issue.  Laine Issue 6 is $30.
Stop by Wool & Grace to check out this special periodical for yourself, or snatch up your copy right away and and buy online right here!  (Plus, back issues of Laine are still available!)

Don't Delay: Fall Sock Class is Open!

Our Fall Sock Class is open and we still have a few spaces left!  Join us for this year's sock class.  We'll be working with a worsted weight yarn and toe-up construction which means that your socks will knit up faster, and we'll teach you how this method will help you knit a better-fitting sock!

This three-part class will take place on October 6, October 30 and November 3 from 1-2:30pm.  Participants must be familiar with small-circumference knitting in the round and should be familiar with standard increases and decreases.  Class cost is $75 plus the cost of materials.  Yarn used during the class should be purchased from Wool & Grace.
