We designed this sock class so that you feel great about knitting your first pair of socks.  We don't want them to take forever to complete, and we want them to fit!  

Our Worsted-Weight Toe Up Sock Class is a 3-part class for intermediate knitters ready to make their first pair of socks or improve their sock-knitting technique.  Using a worsted weight yarn will help you get through this project quickly, and we'll discuss how to get a great fit.  Our first class will cover cast-on and toe-shaping.  Our second class will cover the heel shaping.  The third class will focus on a stretchy bind-off!  

Participants must have experience with small circumference knitting in round and should be familiar with standard increases and decreases.  You will have a choice of your method of circular knitting including double points, double circulars or magic loop.

The class cost is $75.  Materials are purchased separately. Please use yarn purchased from Wool & Grace for this class.  

Materials include:

At least 300 yards of worsted-weight yarn.  Recommended yarn is Jarbo Garn Raggi.

Needle size is variable, but we recommend a US5 or US6 needle to get a dense, tight fabric.  Depending on your method of circular knitting, you will need double points, a 32" circular needle (or longer) for magic loop, or two sets of circular needles.
